Vacations

We used to love vacations... Now not so much.
It´s weird how we used to love vacaition back in high school, it was freedom, the only thing we wanted since the semester started to wake up late in the day, not to wear uniform, NO HOMEWORK, total and complete freedom. The one thing a lazy teenager wants, in other words what every teenager wants. In college, don't ask me why 'cause i don't have a clue, vacations are something that keep you from freedom, somehow we find home in college, i say somehow  'cause it's not pretty, some people might descrived them like hell, 'cause you gotta take care of you, and your things but in all that it's kind of nice after a while.we all like bad treatment, we people like to suffer, funny how we complain all the time about bad treatment but that's all we look for.

Anyway now what vacation means is getting yell all the time for all kinds of strange things, like...
- Why haven't you wake up??? It's  11 o'clock !!

- Why haven't you cleaned the house?!!
-Why is there so much laundry?
And you're like well I know you miss me, but can't you at least show a bit of affection instead of showing that you couldn't yell to anyone while I was away.
We do't like vacation beacause it's not like before, when all your problems ended with school, in college all of our problems just wait for us to comeback, some of them get bigger, like the monster that lives in my closset, that grumpy bastard just gets bigger every period of vacation, anyway gotta go... late for the shrink.

Surviving medical school

It seems like a century ago that I completed the first year of medical school. The reality is, It just been 8 moths since I started this mission. Anyway, I think the first year is the most difficult, because all the new things you have to deal with, being away from home, away from friends and everything you know has sudendly changed.
Studying medicine is a exausting process and it needs a great discipline and sacrifice, but the most important thing is, take care of yourself, then you can help other people. You can have really bad consecuences for your healt if you adopt bad habits. Don't ruin your healt eating fast food, drinking a lot of coffee or avoiding exercise. Your body needs exersice and sleep. Your brain needs healthy food, water, fruits and vegetables. Don't compete with your classmates, this carreer is about competition, you fight for get one place in school, for good grades, for almost everything, but that don't make you better student or person.
Try to avoid everyone after an exam, you don't want to know what you failed after three days without sleeping! that's makes you want to commit suicide. You can't change anything, if you failed, try again and make it better, don't torture yourself with your own mistakes. Nobody is perfect, keep trying. You can study with friends, in my opinion it helps you a lot. Everybody learns in a different way, but you can share information and see things from another perspective.
Make practice questions while you study, you can read a thousand times the topic but try to understand what you are reading. Sometimes we just read but our mind is focus on another thing, That's a huge problem. You can answer for yourself, and by that I mean not outloaud, what your teacher is asking. It helps you to know if you're learning something or if you need study more.
Do what you like. If you used to like dancing before, then do it! Don't let the school eat all of your hobbies, you need them. Try to give you the time to do what you love. When you were in high school you had a life, maybe you used to run for an ice cream every wednesday, keep doing it but don't forget you have to study later. Make a schedule, so you can do more things in your day and make your day count.

Call for help

It was just another sunny day, just like any other day, the beat of the alarm brings me back to life and I start getting ready because a have one big day ahead. It was my first week as a medical student, everything was perfect… until I step out of my house, Why? Because i didn’t have any idea of how to get from my house to the school, and of course that means I was in trouble. One day before I had to adventure myself out of my brand new castle, one of my roommates, Guess who… Had told me how to get to school from my house, it involves two busses, some walking and of course a lot of sun, three thing I don’t like. I actually made it safe to school, and have a regular introduction day, some teachers that don’t like the word teacher, because they are doctors, so they show us what to spect from the class, what should we do for the class and that Friday meant half a day. At the end I was pretty find, so I happilly walk to the buss stop, so I wait for like 15 minutes for the bus that supose to get me home. The buss arrives and I get in, it was a regular bus and by regular I mean uncomfortable sits, bad smells and bad music, but it was the closest thing to a magic pumking i could get, so whatever. The buss starts moving and I’m expecting to see something familiar soon, but that does not happend any time soon in fact it does not happend in that bus because I just realize that I took the wrong buss, instead of going home I was going in the exactly oposive direction so I panic of course, and what do we little girls do when we panic? Yes, we call our mothers, so I’m sitting on a not very clean seat in the middle of nowhere asking my mom what to do. At this point I was expecting that this coudn’t get worst… I was wrong. The buss driver stops the buss, bring out a pack of smokes and a lunch bag, and it starts smoking in the buss and eating his lunch, so yes, I panic a little more, if that’s even posible, so I make the next logical step I get off the creapy buss and ask my mom to tell me what to do. She’s all “calm down, honey, just ask someone where can you take the right buss”, but there wasn’t a living soul in sight, and I start walking arround looking for someone without hainging up the phone, after what it seems like an eternity I found a guy and I ask him where could I get the right buss, he points me where I could take the buss and I instantlly say thanks and rush over the buss stop, after the longest five minutes in my life, the buss arrived. Half an our later tire as hell and a bit grumpy I finally arrived home. Conclusion. Busses are not made for me.

Surviving 101

Have you ever heard about useless people... Yes, I'm one of those lovely little princess. Imagine my parents sorprise when I decided to adventure myself into Culichitown.
So here's the tale of my little and complicated life.
Once upon a time, there was me, enjoying my super funny summer when I got an email saying CONGRATULANTION YOU'VE GOT ACCEPTED. WELCOME TO MEDICAL SCHOOL. I couldn't believed it!
After I reading it I ran to my parents to tell them that I had been accepted and I would become a doctor, they were so proud of me.
So the moving and the packing began, what should I bring, what should I left, where would I live and how would I survive. Bad luck my parents got to excited so they solve the moving and the house problem so I got like three weeks to learn how to survive.... IT DIDN'T MATTER
I'm just not made to work, kind of an alergy or something, but let's focus on my first week... I arrived to this beautiful and perfect house, but... there's always a but, one of my brand new roommates was so annoying. Of course at the begining she was all puppies and kittens, another little princess away from home.
My other two roommates were normal people, that became great friends. The boy knew how to cook very well, he feed us everyday. The girl is one of the funniest persons I ever met, and a really good friend.
So at this point I hate one of my roommates, got the food from another and the love from the last one.
